Democratic Sen. Cory Booker testified against Sen. Jeff Sessions today, and he wants you to know all about it. In fact, his opening line was, “I know it’s exceptional for a senator to testify against another sitting senator nominated for a Cabinet position.”
Yeah, yeah. We get it. You’re testifying against Sessions solely so you can brag about it when you run for a greater position in the future. As Rush Limbaugh said today, Booker’s auditioning to become the next Barack Obama.
That being said, Booker said the next attorney general must bring “hope” and “healing,” and that “requires a more courageous empathy than Senator Sessions’ record demonstrates.”
“It demands that understanding that patriotism is love of country, and love of country demands that we love all of our citizens– even the most marginalized, the most disadvantaged, the most degraded and the most unfortunate,” Booker said.

Allow me to translate: SESSIONS IS A RACIST!
Here’s a longer video of Booker’s pathetic plea:
Flashback to that one time Booker was super excited to work with Sessions on civil rights.
What a tool.
