Remember former congressman Anthony Weiner? Huma Abedin’s scumbag of a husband? He’s expected to plead guilty to sexting-related charges regarding his months-long online sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl. He allegedly exchanged a ton of inappropriate material with the minor. For instance, he allegedly encouraged her to dress as a “school-girl” and “pressed her to engage in ‘rape fantasies.’” He also sent her bare-chested photos, constantly complimented her body and even told her he woke up “hard” thinking about her. Oh. And allegedly sent her messages like, “I would bust that tight p***y so hard and so often that you would leak and limp for a week.”
That guy was a CONGRESSMAN OMG.
After the initial report came out, Weiner admitted he has “repeatedly demonstrated terrible judgment” about people he’s communicated with online. To which we all say, “NO DUH.”
“I have repeatedly demonstrated terrible judgment about the people I have communicated with online and the things I have sent,” Weiner said at the time. ”I am filled with regret and heartbroken for those I have hurt.”
That being said, Weiner will appear in Manhattan federal court Friday and is expected to plead guilty.
According to the Times, the expected plea covers conduct from January to March of 2016. The charge reportedly carries a potential sentence ranging up to 10 years in prison – though the former congressman also could avoid prison entirely.
“…though the former congressman also could avoid prison entirely.” Of course. That’s always how it goes.
