President Trump Addresses The Violence In Charlottesville Once And For All

President Trump just addressed the violence in Charlottesville once and for all. He held a brief news conference which was supposed to focus on veterans affairs, but he opened up with this:

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides, on many sides,” Trump said.

Here’s his full statement:

“We must remember this truth: no matter our color, creed, religion or political party, we are ALL AMERICANS FIRST.”

Of course, his statement leaves many unsatisfied. Because he didn’t specifically utter the words, “I condemn violent white nationalism,” his statement doesn’t count.

Chelsea Clinton retweeted that one, btw.

I actually wish Trump DID just slip in, “violent white nationalists suck,” because I saw this reaction coming a mile away.

I’m just gonna leave this here.
