Guam’s Governor Eddie Calvo Is Pleased With President Trump’s Tough Talk

As you’ve heard, North Korea is considering a strike on Guam.

President Trump has said that North Korea will “regret it fast” if it attacks the US or a US territory. He’s standing firm.

“If he does anything with respect to Guam or any place else that’s an American territory or an American ally, he will truly regret it and he will regret it fast,” Trump told reporters Friday afternoon.

On Saturday morning, President Trump spoke to Guam’s Gov. Eddie Calvo, but liberals are triggered by what he said.

“We are with you 1,000 per cent, you are safe,” Trump said, later adding that tourism is going to go up “tenfold.”

“I have to tell you, you have become extremely famous all over the world. They are talking about Guam; and they’re talking about you,” Trump said. “I can say this: You’re going to go up, like, tenfold with the expenditure of no money.”

However, Guam’s governor has a VERY different take.

“Mr. President as the Governor of Guam, representing the people of Guam and as an American citizen I have never felt so safe or more confident with you at the helm so with all the criticism going on over there, from a guy that’s been targeted I’m thankful and I’m glad you’re holding the helm sir,” Calvo told Trump.

Hm. Calvo is feeling safe and confident and is grateful for the Trump administration’s tough talk. How about that, libs?

I just hope we don’t move more military personnel over there. I’d hate for Guam to– you know– “tip over and capsize.”
