Ranking Member On The House Intelligence Committee Admits There’s No Proof Of Trump/Russia Collusion

I love whenever Democratic lawmakers have to admit that there’s not a shred of evidence of collusion between President Trump and Russia. Sen. Mark Warner said they had nothing. Sen. Joe Manchin said there was no evidence. Even Rep. Maxine Waters admitted it.

And remember when Comey dismissed NYT’s Trump/Russia collusion report as #FakeNews during his testimony? Good times.

We now have another top Democrat admitting that there isn’t a shred of evidence of Trump/Russia collusion. Rep. Adam Schiff– the freaking ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee– basically told ABC News’ Martha Raddatz that he doesn’t have any proof.

“I’m not prepared to say that there’s proof you could take to a jury,” Schiff told Raddatz Sunday.

Interesting, that. Especially coming from him, given his position, interest and involvement in this case. As the Daily Caller notes, Schiff “has been able to review classified information held by various agencies of the intelligence community. He has also sat in on briefings with FBI officials to review information in the case.” So if ANY Democratic lawmaker would know something, it’d be him.

Still, he wants everyone to know that this investigation is definitely warranted and totally not a giant waste of time.

“I can say that there’s enough that we ought to be investigation,” Schiff said

“Indeed, it would be negligent for us not to investigate. If a foreign government…has something that they can hang over the head of our president or our administration that can influence U.S. policy, it is very much in our national security interest to know it,” he added.

That’s fine. But you guys have been looking into this for how long? And you STILL don’t have a shred of evidence. Not even HALF a shred. What does that tell you?
